| Agroturism is well developed in MOECIU , immediately south of Bran:
buses terminate in Moeciu de Jos, just beyond the junction at km105 to
Moeciu de Sus. It's 8km from here to Moeciu de Sus, where the best place
to stay is the Casa Orleanu , also known as the Centru de Ecologie
Montana , at no. 125 (tel 098/590 385, cemmoeciu@yahoo.com ; $6-10),
which has a good knowledge of local wildlife; midway between Moeciu de
Jos and Moeciu de Sus the Complex Turistic Cheile Gradistii (tel 068/236
950 or 092/446 404, fax 319 879; $15-20) is also strongly recommended -
it is mainly reserved for groups, though rooms may be available midweek.
Moeciu has its summer festival from June 25-26. |
